First of all, apologies if you guys have read this before.
I recently got a lend of a high quality VCD of Resident Evil (its not out in the UK yet) and I have been trying to play the VCD on my PC. Unfortunately, windows will not let me read the CD at all. It doesnt register a disc in the drive, so I cant read the .dat file.
Ive tried using VCDgear to convert from .dat to mpg, but again, the cd cant be read.
BTW, my OS is Windows XP. I noticed in an article someone mentioned a file in the windows/system/iosubsys folder, but I dont have this folder(?)
Cheers in advance
