I'm having trouble getting my new ATI TV Wonder VE to work. I am using my camcorder for input, as I'm trying to make VCDs from my 8mm tapes. When I turn the camcorder on play, I get the sound over my speakers (as sound is plugged directly into sound card), but when I click on TV, the system locks up.
Has anybody else had this problem? I don't have cable tv plugged into it right now ... is that an issue if I don't plan on watching TV at this point?
I'm open to all suggestions on better software to use or how to update the drivers.
How do I know if I have PCI slots that share other than by trial and error?
Thanks in advance,

What version of the Multimedia Center are you using, there are two. there is the old one (from the CD), or MMC 7.1 from ati.com? If you are usng the old one, ditch it.

I do have the new one. Could this be conflicting with my nvidia tnt2 riva video card?
