i have been trying to improve the picture and sound on blade 2 using tmpgec by increasing the bite rate and also tring to change it from mpeg 1 to mpeg 2 after 17 hours their was no differance in the quality so if any 1 can help me out it would be realy apreciated[/b]

MPEG 1 is already a lossy format, and its actually good you did not find a difference in quality after conversion. When converting straight from the source, it may not be possible to get a better quality than the source.
