  1. Hi Everyone,

I use SmartRipper>DVD2AVI>TMPGEnc>VCDEasy to make VCDs from DVDs. Is there anyway of ripping the special features on the DVDs and attach it to the end of the main movie so I can encode and burn them one after another onto VCDs? Ideally, I would like to make VCDs so when the main movie ends, the special feature starts.

I'm hoping there is a way, but being a newbie I just don't know how. So any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

  2. Yes, it's very simple. Just use the same process to rip the special features. And there's no need to combine the mpegs into one. Simply add them to VCDEasy in the order you want to play them. You can also add a simple menu that would allow you to select which feature you wanted to play.

By default, Smartripper will pick the longest title on the DVD, which is usually the movie. You just have to select the title that corresponds to the features you want. When you select a different title, it will display the VOB name in the target area (e.g. "...\vts_02"). The tricky part will be to determine which VOBs correspond to the features you want. The easiest way I've found to do this is using WinDVD. In WinDVD you can add specific VOBs to the playlist (drag and drop works also). Then by trial and error you can preview and identify the VOBs before wasting time ripping the wrong title. The other PC DVD players probably have a similar feature.
