I've been using the ATI TVW750U for a very long time. Have the composite video feed coming off my cable box and use graphstudio to capture and then ccextractor to make srt on my windows 10 machine. I have an HD PVR60 to do video but that's all HDMI (it doesn't seem to capture the cc info), so it's a two step process but it has worked.

And then the ATI unit died. Not even recognized when I plug it into the USB anymore.

I set all this up so long ago, I'm not even sure I remember how to do it - but I can do all that again.

The better question though is does a better way to get captions off my tv shows than what I've been doing? Maybe something that's a little more modern? I'd be willing to buy a new capture device if one exists that will do all this. Not like I do major stuff - just an occasional program I want to keep for myself.

So is there a single device I could get to pull everything in or even a newer device than the ATI 750 which has been out of production for probably 15 years at this point.
