Anyone know about I.C.O.S. mods?

I´ve seen some shops selling DVD players with I.C.O.S. mods, sometimes by HW and sometimes by SW (or both). Regions and macrovision has been removed.. Does anyone know if it´s possible to get hold of that software? Particulary for Pioneer DV-444.

Or if someone has any links where I can learn more about it..?
