  1. i have been burning VCD's for a while, no problems at all... when i burn a SVCD it turns out fine, but for some reason, when i put the cd in, it comes up with the windows folders and i have to navigate thru the folders (EXT, MPEG2, SEGMENT, SVCD, ETC) in order to get to the mpeg2 file then hit play. Is there any way to autoplay this, so that as soon as i put the cd in my dvd player it will autoplay or even to just be able to hit play... I burn alot of movies for my 5 year old, and its hard for him to navigate to play his movies May be a dumb dumb question but any help would be greatly appreciated thanks :P Oh ya, I use nero 5.5.8.0 to burn SVCD on my Plextor drive

You could try change the folder settings in Nero to MPEGAV(under Propertites->Video cd->Compatibility), then maybe your player that doesn't "really" supports SVCDs could automatically play it or by just hit play....(the MPEGAV is VCDs default folder for video)
