I just got a hold of my brother's computer, which I once passed on my old All In Wonder 128 16 meg card to. It had MMC 6.0 on it. So I decided I would be nice and upgrade the sytem with the newest drivers and MMC for win98 (7.1). Little did I realize that my bro had captured many videos in the VCR2 format. These videos can now not be viewed at all with the new drivers and MMC installed. (I get sound but no video) other video files work fine. Is there any hope for a conversion without re-installing MMC 6.0 again? (if I can find it again) I have seen the post about using the Library app to turn vcr files into mpeg2, but library is not in mmc 7.1. I also tried placing the files on my system with a Radeon All In wonder and tried using the Library, but it didn't seem to do anything, I would click on export to mpeg2, select where to save and then no file would be created? Am I doing something wrong with it? Can I use something else to convert these files?
