  1. Could some of the capture wizards here that make svcds and vcds from vhs tapes give me some pointers to make the video look pleasurable? Doesnt matter what I do the cd whether it be an svcd or vcd the picture on the screen doesnt look as good as when watching the vhs tape itself.
It have a new model jvc vcr with svideo output and the source that I make on my cpu with my ati aiw looks good but when I burn and view the disc it looks like crap. Please let me know what are some good filters and settings that will give me optimum results.
    Thanks!

  2. I am trying to do the same thing and am suffering from the same problems. If you discover any tricks please let me know. So far I have determined that with my computer setup I can capture the best quality video using the Digital VCR option included with my AIW videocard. As for out put I know that I will be using SVCD format all of the VCDs I have produced to date just plain suck for image quality and are not "pleasureable" to read. So for now my best advice would be to use the software which ATI provides but as for format/filters I've got nothing....but hey feel free to let me know what you discover works well with your setup as I wouldn't mind not having to waste so much time experimenting.
