  1. Hi,

I am thinking about getting a Sony HVR-MRC1, Firestore FS-100 or a Focus Enhancements FS-100. Or something like that. Any suggestions on which one to get?

    Thanks.

P.s. I still did not give up the idea of using a Raspberry PI 5 with thunderbolt 3/Firewire port to make my own. However, I am too stupid and have other things going on right now... : )

I think you're doing the right thing there, the firewire port was allways the most exciting one to check out when checking out the avalible ports on an new computer but never really got to use it very often! Raspberry PI 5 sound real cool such as BlackBerry and Thunderbolt sound real cool allso! Sorry i cant help much with the other things but Sony is an good brand for many things, real nice softwares with some nice looking user interfaces and features, alltough they seem to consume quite a bit of computer performance many times but that seem to be worth it with their real nice ports for transfers and other connection points that seem to last longer then others and a lil bit better quality!
