Hi every one, I am using a AIW Pro, old card from 1997 with MMC 7.2. I recently installed Ulead DVD Factory and I can capture only 240 lines of resolution, even when I try to select the SVCD and or DVD templates.

I am able to capture much higher resolution using MMC. Why can't I do the same in Ulead DVD Factory, it is capturing straight to MPEG format. Another thing, when I try to modify the resolution in DVD Factory, it accepts it but when I playback the resulting file, the lower half is all green, like it just blanked out anything beyond 240 vertical resolution. I am using all the latest drivers, codecs, WDM drivers, Wrappers. It is using the Bt829 codec the same as MMC is using. Anyone have any work arounds on this. I like using ULEAD for capture because it drops absolutely no frames while MMC drops frames periodically. Is there a way to hack into the registry ..... I am not understanding why I can capture higher vertical resolutions with MMC 7.2 or 7.6 but not with Ulead or VirtualDub. It clearly cannot be a hardware issue or else MMC would not let me capture higher resolutions...it sounds like some kind of built in software limitation...and no doubt deliberate.
