  1. hi,

i just downloaded lord of the rings mpeg and i have a few questions with burning it to disc to play on a dvd player for my home theatre.

    1) mpeg doesnt require any conversions of any type, i just burn it to the disc and dont worry about over dubbing the audio or anything?
    2) its first disc is 720 megs and i have 80 min discs, should this be a problem with the size constraints? the third disc only has 400 megs, i dont know why they didnt distribute them more evenly
    3) do i have to deal with the set up with the menu when i am downloading with vcdeasy? or can i just leave it as is and push play and it comes up.

thanks for your help, and hopefully i can watch this on my big tv and not a monitor

  2. Try using NERO to burn the mpg's people have had issues with vcd easy. I have never tried vcd easy because of the problems I've heard.

    Here are the answers
1.Yes you can just burn mpg's as long as you don't have sync issues when playing on your software player

2.If the first disc is 80 minutes(it probably is) or under then it won't be a problem. If it is over then you cn overburn using NERO I however have never ued this process of overburning.

3.If you use nero then just use the guide on thi site here is the link

Just another note the bigger the screen the bigger the pixilation if you have pixilation that is.

Off topic Note : Once you have a big screen you never go backwards, my first one was 46 my current one is 50 my next one will be HD and bigger!

    Hope This helps
