So the video head bearing from my Panasonic NV-HS1000 just bit the dust and is making a very loud grinding noise. Instead of repairing it, I would much rather just completely replace the head assembly (as one the LP heads is damaged as well). I was wondering about what decks I should buy as parts which use the same or at least a similar video head.
I found a Panasonic NV-HS900, but on the manual it shows a picture of a video head with 6 heads (mine has 7; or at least thats how many I counted). However, the Panasonic NV-AG4700 also shows a 6 head video head but its supposed to be a clone of the HS1000 so I'm kinda lost. I'm hoping one of you guys will help me out.
Many thanks
