How do I stop slight freezing when encoding throuygh tmpgenc have reduced bitrate down to 2000 but still get very slight freezing like juddery

You will need to be more specific for someone to help. What kind of file did you encode, what you are playing it on, computer or standalone DVD player, etc.

divx dvd rip plays in sand alone and pc but with slight freezing but encoded movie before authering and burning seems ok

What did you use to author/burn? Try to slow down burn speed, try a different brand CD-R, try a cd-rw, don't put your Standalone above other electronics, especially an amp and allow it to reach room temp before testing again. Heat was causing my Apex to do this. You might want to download a sample and author/burn with the same progs and see if it still happens. Have you successfully encoded and burned anything yet?
