Hi - I have a Wharfedale 750-DVD (not 750s) and I'm getting the problem where when I cut an svcd it plays 4 seconds of the track in slo-mo then freezes.

    **@@#!!

Ok - so anyway I'm hitting the problem above. I've checked the archive and tried the following -

I created the svcd with vcdimager/cdrdao instead of nero - same problem. I downloaded the test SVCD and burnt it using cdrdao and it worked ok.

Which suggests there's a problem with my source MPG's? I created them by capturing MPEG2 from my Hauppage WinTV card and then used TMPGENC to convert into the SVCD format using a standard template.

    It's PAL by the way.

Anyone any thoughts about what to do next?

    Thanks

    Shuggie (aka butterfingers)

  4. Sadly the 750 (not 750s) does not play svcd.

It does - it played the test one I downloaded - quite happily.

  6. Hmm, now I am interested.

I too have the 750 but it has never played a svcd (including the download from this site).

Yet my freind who has a 750s has been able to play all of the test svcd's that fail in mine 750.....
