  1. I used virtual dub to extract the audio, and it came up with this error that said that it had to add something like 28881 ms to the audio header, then when I used TMPGE to combine the audio and video, the audio is like 3 seconds ahead of the video. I cant seem to get the audio and video into sync. Why is it doing this, and how do I fix it? Is there another program I could use to extract the audio so I dont get that error?
    Oh, why doesnt TMPGE just use the audio from the original .avi file? then I wouldnt have to mess with the audio extraction.
    maybe its better to just spend the 10 bucks for the dvd.

  2. Use tmpgenc source range audio gap correct. if your audio is ahead of the video set the source range to -2888 and try that you may have to tinker with the numbers. but just encode a minute or two and stop and check the output file and make any necessary adjustments
