The special version does, as you probably already know. If you don't know, search through the discord channel history. Then you'll have the proof demanded.

after decrypting init manually and appending segments it always start according to unix time in mpd.
the only way i know it worked for someone else was with restreaming.

yt-dlp does not work but decrypted (init+segments) work
