Hi guys, I have 4K movies that I bough last year and I like to watch it on my TV but doesnīt support 4k, my question is because last night I watched a movie that the image looks amazing and when I asked to person that give me the movie he said he take the UHD release from the packaging and pass it or convert it to 1080p, when I asked he canīt remeber the tool he used for it

Because that is my question is there the possibility to get best image quality if you convert the UHD to 1080p?

    Thank You in advance

  2. I would not spend the time resizing and reencoding a 4k UHD to 1080p, you are losing 4x the resolution. Just play the 4k via the same way you play the 1080p and let the device or software resize on the fly.

How are you playing the 1080p now?

If your playing device doesn't support uhd use vidcoder to re-encode to 1920x1080.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
