Hello all, I've searched the forum (which is WAY over my abilities by the way) for the answer to what I think is a very simple thing that I just cannot fathom.
Tried HandBrake and VidCoder and all I want to do is put a DVD from my PC into a folder on said PC that I can then upload to my preferred cloud storage.
Whenever I do this however the software encodes the DVD into separate files (chapters) instead of one continuous file (which I would prefer).
My question is what moronic newbie mistake am I making please?
Any assistance much appreciated.

And do read the forum rules since your topic header, which might amuse you, does NOT describe your problem.

Still get the 3 disc limit message, am i using the ripper you specified? -
I have an old version, 9.x.x.x that looks like this at startup:

The lower two options never expire. When you continue (press the close button) to the next screen the "Copy" options continue to work.
Also try the very old DVDDecrypter. It still works on many discs. -
Hey jagabo, much appreciated for the guidance. Having a mare here! found the HD Decrypter link and found the never expire option. DVDDecrytper i remember from way back but still not what I'm trying to do which is rip a DVD to MP4 so I can upload it to my cloud as a single file. Everything I try keeps splitting the chapters up into separate files...
Will persevere. -
Two stage process.
1. Rip your dvd to your HDD using the above tool (dvddecrypter may even work)
2. Use a conversion tool such as handbrake. Load the video_ts folder - NOT the individual file(s) in the folder - and you can then encode the full video. -
Thank you gents.
Deffo not used up my 30 day trial of DVDFab and managed to get the DVDdecrypter method going.
Churning through my collection for the next week at least, thanks again all.
