I just purchased a pioneer dvr 104 drive. I'm about to burn my first dvd. I've read something about needing to feel a blank dvd-r > 4Gigs to get it to work in my Phillips DVD 711 player. My question is what directory do I put the bogus files into? I read somewhere that all you need to do is feel the disc with various other data and the drive will still look to the TS_VIDEO directory for the movie. Do you make another folder and dump the data files into it, if so any particular name? can you put the data files into a TS_AUDIO folder?
Last question, what is the maximum amount of video/audio time can I put on a 4.7 Gig disc WITHOUT loosing any video/audio quality? If I'm backing up a movie, can I put 2:30 hours of the dvd on a dvd-r without changing the bit rate or audio stream to stero instead of ac3?
Thanks everyone,
Scotsman
