Make sure that you don't have any other programs running at the same time or start something while you're doing the burn, absolutly nothing....
    Have a good one,

you don't have to be that careful about not having stuff running...that's the point of the buffer underrun protection. I would avoid doing too much stuff, but you don't need to shut down everything

  6. FANTOMLORD, For the most part you are right you don't have to be that careful but I have a slow coputer and If I am downloading a coupe of files and burning at the same time I will get messages like bufferrun avoided... and sure enough the number of times it says it avoided is also the number of times i get a scrambled picture on my dvd player. They do recommend that you burn something with nothing else running when using Nero just like NEOMAINE said
We were all NEWBIES once and the only stupid question is the one that's not asked?

What is the deal? How can I remedy this?

  8. this gets annoying after awhile. If you haven't tried daemon tools to burn your DVD2SVCD images then ...hmmm....aheem...you should. Works just like abstinence, that is works everytime tried.

Screenshots for those who can't read.
