I got Nero 5.5 and DVGate (Sony VAIO) to capture and encode AVI to MPEG1. I've searched on this forum but couldn't find this topic: How does one "connecdt" or assemble multi-MPEG1 files into one seamless MPEG1 File? I can't do more than 20 minutes AVI at a time. The chapters still freeze a bit even with zero second pause in Nero 5.5. Thanks!

If you check the Tool section of this site you can find a few tools to help you. I would say if you use TMPGEnc (you'll find it under Encoders) and use the MPEG Tools cut/merge (you'll find them under >>file>>MPEG Tools) it will be a simple task. Click all the files in chronological order you wish to join, which type of mpeg feed you have for example mpeg1 feed or VCD feed, rename your new output file...and you're off
