Hello everyone! Here I go with myu problem .. A while ago I bought a 4k tv, and plugged it to my motherboard that came with its Intel on-board. So far everything perfect. I modified the resolution, (which it took instantly) and increased the windows scaling to 200%. It was all a dream until an electrical problem burned that entrance to the board and I had to go back to the video board and its HDMI connection. The problem was that I never took the real resolution of the TV. Faced with this situation, I googled to death and came on to this publication:
    https://superuser.com/questions/894561/force-4k-in-windows-7-wrong-max-resolution-reported-by-the-tv
Which led me to these two:
    https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher
    https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU

Anyway, I could not force anything and I had to continue in 1080p

Then, determined to do so, I bought a new video hardware, (Radeon RX 550 4GB), which DID supported 4k for real, but the surprise was that the system was not taking it, I had to force the 4k it through Radeon settings.
When I did it, it was always out of focus, I could never see that clear text as I had already tried with the Intel On-board .. and the people from radeon, made me install and uninstall the drivers several times ... and nothing ...

The thing is that, I want to get to use the board full and see the windows clearly. (I must clarify that the videos decently look ok, and run in 4k on YouTube as if nothing, the problem is the text and other annoying blurring in sight.
Well, I hope I have not extended more, thank you in advance, I hope you can help me because I don't know what to do anymore.
    Sorry if my english sucked!
    Greetings!
    Derek

  2. The text looks fine here. Turn off ClearType if you don't like the smoothing it applies. Make sure your TV isn't set to simulate overscan.
