    In Samsung Magician the Over Provisioning recommended % is 10, but custom % is from 1 to 50. Is it a good idea to increase the % from the recommended 10 to 50 if the additional space is no needed?

    From what I've seen most manufactures use 7 or 28 percent. 7 for read intensive environments, 28 for write intensive environments. But try not to fill what's left by more than 50 percent. For example, if you have a 128 GB drive and you set aside 28 GB for overprovisioning, try to leave at least 50 GB of the remaining 100 GB free. Performance starts to drop when you fill it more than that.
