I am starting to use mpv media player and have run into a problem with videos with accented characters in the filename.
For example, if I try to do the following:
I get an error:Code:mpv --start=13:20 --length=10 "video áéíóúñü.mp4"
As you can see, the name is completely changed. The accented characters are not recognized.Code:[file] Cannot open file 'video ßÚݾ·±³.mp4': No such file or directory
Does anyone know what I need to do?
Thanks!

I resolved this problem.
I was using a batch file to run and I needed to save the batch file as a DOS file, rather than ANSI or UTF8.
Now it is working.... -

Win 10 has an improved CMD terminal interpreter but you might as well use PowerShell as terminal interpreter!
