    When trying to burn to DVD with a clean install of Nero 5.5.8, I get an error of "unwritable medium" even though the discs are fresh out of the package and burn fine with DVDit!

    I'm using Windows XP with a Panasonic LF-D311 drive and Memorex DVD-R discs. Both XP and my DVD drive are said to be supported in 5.5.8.

    Anyone have any idea what might be behind this problem?
