We are currently using a GL2 for recording our worship service. It is starting to jump into demo mode on it own and we are needing to migrate from s-video to HDMI interface. We are connecting the camera to a Roland V-4EX which is HDMI. We are on a limit budget. What would be a good camera to replace the GL2 with. The camera is a good 75 feet away from the front of house so zooming is important for that distance.

We replaced our GL2 with the Panasonic AG160. Kinda pricey, but well worth the money and has a 22:1 zoom with very sharp lens. Has firewire out. We feed to a laptop using Roxio Creator onto a thumb drive and then edit on a desktop computer. Been doing this for a couple of years and it works great.
