  2. Looking at the parameters https://gitlab.com/AOMediaCodec/SVT-AV1/-/blob/master/Docs/Parameters.md and since SVT AV-1 can't encode lossless: No

  3. While there may not be a defined lossless setting, you could try setting the gop to 1 so that it is all I frames and set the quantizer parameter to 0.

This should be lossless, or very close to it.

according to the doc, only [1-63] are supported,....

Ffmpeg shows 0-63 for both CRF and QP on my system.

libsvtav1 only supports yuv420p and yuv420p10le pixel formats, if the source is yuv444p it will not be lossless even if you use QP or CRF to 0.

I completely missed the part where he said they were 4:4:4.

In that case the OP should use libaom-av1 which supports all of these:

    yuv420p yuv422p yuv444p gbrp yuv420p10le yuv422p10le yuv444p10le yuv420p12le yuv422p12le yuv444p12le gbrp10le gbrp12le gray gray10le gray12le

    He can make a nice 12-bit 4:4:4 AV1.
