I'm trying to set VLC up for Blu Ray playback. I know I need the KEYDB.cfg file and another file from that whoknowsmyname site. Thing is I've been trying to connect to it since Saturday. Are those files hosted anywhere else please? Or is there another good alternative to VLC for BluRay? Cheers!

I use PowerDVD Ultra, which is not free but it sometimes goes on sale at a significantly discounted price. The only free player I know of that is supposed to be any good is Leawo Blu-ray Player, but I have never used it.

You could also try the freeware VSO Media Player.

It does need a decryption program for playback from a commercial BD disc, but you can use DVDFab Passkey ,
and it doesn't have BD menu support.
