    I bought a new all-in-wonder 7500, and now my avi_io program is giving me an error "cannot connect to first capture device" (that would be the AIW). My only other choice would be the wdm, I don't think so! I'm using Win98SE, so I really need avi_io to capture multi seg files. Also, all the video settings menus have been greyed out, so I can't reconfigure anything.

    Anybody use these programs together?

    I did remove and re-add avi_io, but that did nothing.

    As usual, I know it's some little thing I forgot to do, but I can't imagine what.

    All the current ATI AIW cards come with a WDM only driver (no VFW drivers). You will have to load an old ATI driver, or get a WDM to VFW wrapper program. If there are other solutions, please jump in...

    Ok, I found the wrapper...installed....checked to make sure it's in the windows/sys....still can't get avi_io to use the ati for capture.
