  1. Hi,

    but I'm a CAT

kindless I wonder this: is there a NLE in wich where the "dominant" video track is the one that is lower, rather than high, as in many popular NLE?
    thanks

  3. They can all have the first track on the bottom. Just turn your monitor upside down.

Easily found with something called "google"

Anyway, yes - for some reason the bottom layer in the timeline view seems to be on top of the others:

I would not waste my time though. Get something widely used and supported, like Vegas Movie Studio. It's $29 now.

EDIT whoops, what I said seems to apply to text only, not video (so VSDC is not so insane after all):

  10. thanks, but if possibly I don't want a basic editor. I'm a low-brain cat: please avid, please adobe, please Da Vinci, please Final Cat, please vegas made for me a NLE that have the dominant video track to the bottom

  11. Actually, you've jogged my memory. In Avid you can do it.

You need to set up your tracks in the proper top down order first, and then you can rearrange how they are displayed. Don't know the command off hand.

This feature is mostly used by veterans to tease rookies, but it does exist.

Edit: you hold the alt key and choose the track identifier, then you move it up or down. V4 will always act like V4 and V1 will always act like V1 regardless of display order.

Dude, you're asking a quintessential Rube Goldberg type about his tendencies, which at this point seem pretty ingrained. Add to that the over the top felix-phile excuse stuff...

Of course. How stupid of us all not to be able to realize that problem (sarc).
Try turning the monitor on its side.
