    unfortunately it is 800 x 480!
    maybe i should settle for 720x 480.
anyway i have pinnacle studio 12 software.
which format is the sharpest - avi? or what?
    what kodak sent eons ago
    thanks all

They can all have similar quality. The limitations will be the player (ie: the picture frame). I suggest trying each supported type and see which actually plays best in that device.

i tried 5 that were supported - one worked but it was smaller than the frame all the way round!
it was set at 720x480 frame is supposedly 800 x 480
    no mov would work.
any i set at custome 800x480 would not work.

MOV, AVI, MPG, MPEG (Video formats created with digital cameras are
certified for Kodak digital frames. Videos created with or copied from other
sources may not play on the frame.)

If mov or avi, very likely using mjpeg codec. If mpg, likely mpeg1.
I say having worked with a number of those digital frames.
