Hello,
I am reading packets with ffmpeg's av_read_frame from a WMV file, and I am sending them directly to Broadcom Video/Audio Hardware Decoder, but decoder doesn't recognize the AVpackets. Do I have to append some kind of header to those packets in order for decoder to recognize that this is WMV?

Just a guess, but like everything else Windows (ie: wmv) related, the hardware likely doesn't support the version of wmv you are trying to play.
