I'm lookin' to buy a Jaybird X3 earbud set, but I can't find any good deals. I'm using X2's now so I'm not really in a jam yet. Any help?

List is about $130US and most places sell them for that. Ebay has some cheaper, but could have warranty problems.

I worry that the X3's selling now are made by Logitech, and that they cheaped them down. I want to get original Jaybirds, made by original Jaybird Co. I can find them around $100, but don't know if they are the real deal.

I'm willing to take a chance on the warranty if I can get a good price. A lot of those warranties send you refurbs back as new.

It looks like Logitech acquired Jaybird back in April 2016, but the news people say that they are still a independent subsidiary. Maybe.
So most any Jaybird products on the market now are post 2016. You may try to find some newer reviews that may answer your question if they have been 'cheaped down'.

Looks like Logitech bought the Co., but let them keep control on the specs. But that's what they always say, isn't it? I realize, the longer I wait, the sooner it becomes junk. That's my other dilemma.

    OK, thanks for the input.
