Anyone tried a 4K HDCP with the 1.4 splitter?

and wondered if anyone has tried it with or without the splitter to capture content?

That doesn't work. It is illegal to make a device that strips hdcp 2.2, even though HDFury has done it, many people expect them to be taken to court for it. Many capture cards are hdcp 1.4 compliant however, and devices that convert hdcp 2.2 to 1.4 are legal, as are 4k scalers that convert hdcp, such as yt's device: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-HDMI-to-HDMI-Digital-Scalar-Support-HDMI...0-ad67617c969e

All the HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 converter/splitters I have seen discussed to date do exactly that and nothing more, including Monoprice's. They won't remove HDCP.

Also be that aware that ezcapper is a shill who specializes in promoting Chinese electronics sold by Chinese retailers, not an ordinary member. The devices he posts about may or may not be worthwhile.
