Non-technical newbie begging for help to download from Twitch

Hi. An anime convention I was at this past weekend uploaded full videos of their Q&A sessions on Twitch.tv, but for the life of me, I can't find any way to download them intact. (I did find a "vod cutter" site that enabled me to collect them in 20-second chunks--but since none of the video-splicing programs I've tried will work *remotely* tolerably, this is not a solution.) Methods that appear to be commonly recommended, such as Twitchdown, are giving me errors as well.

These are the four panels/streams I would like to download in full:

I have tried that site repeatedly, and it won't work. At least not for me. It gave me an empty file or only the first few seconds.

Hmm, wtf. This always used to work like a charm. Seems Twitch has changed things around.
