  1. A friend posted a you tube video that's very small. In VLC Media Player 2.2.1 I clicked on Video > Zoom and chose larger sizes but it did nothing to enlarge the video. I can't see the video so smalls. I wanted to enlarge viewing the video. I'd read Handbrake could help but when I watched youtube videos of how to use Handbrake it was about miniaturizing a video not enlarging it so you can see it. Could someone please share the steps and settings in Handbrake so you can enlarge a video? Thanks so much.

  2. Enlarging a small size video can lead to pixelation blur. Just like when you take a small photo and try to make it bigger in your photo editing program.

  3. Is there another tool I can use with VLC Media Player to enlarge the video if I do not use Handbrake? The video was probably compressed with Handbrake something similar so when I download it and play it in VLC you can't see it - it's too small to watch. I clicked the Zoom - 2x in VLC and it did nothing. My goal is just to watch the video but it's too small to see. Thanks.

    VLC has hotkeys as well.

    z = zoom
    f = full screen

  7. @Krispy Kritter - In VLC, I hold down the Shift key and Press Z and the words Zoom appear with different levels (e.g. 1.5x, 2.0 x) but the video does not increase in viewing size. The video content remains tiny. Thanks.
