    If I play a movie with VLC (either on a DVD or on my HD) the menu that lets you choose scene selections, set-up, etc, is there when the movie starts but I can't get it to come up after that. Seems like a right-click would bring that up. I've tried VLC ver 2.2.1 on Win 10 and Win 7, both 64 bit.

    I can't believe this isn't a known issue but searching online brings up a lot (a LOT!) of "menu" issues but apparently not this one. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

    For a Blu-ray at least: right-click > Playback > Title > Top Menu.

    Okay, on my version it's Playback>Title>DVD Menu. Kind of awkward but it works.
