Gents:
I do not know if the above was stated 100 percent directly but its the best I can come up with.
In layman terms:
I found several audio recordings (bird calls) online that I want to extract and save to my hard drive, preferably as an MP3.
It's located on a non YouTube site which has a flash player where you have to click on an arrow to play the audio.
I can't right click and execute a save as...
So, please let's use the above as a starting point.
What tools do I need in order to get the above accomplished?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried any video streaming recording/downloader software? Like the video downloadhelper for firefox or a standalone software like eagleget, vso downloader or https://www.videohelp.com/software/sections/video-streaming-recording ?
They can usually download both video and audio streams.
