    Hi everyone
    Recently i've got a full hd dvb satellite reciever and since i'm totally new to this,
    Can anyone tell me if it supports playing 5.1 ch..

    It does decode AC3 which can be 5.1 depending on the broadcast and station. Whether you can get 5.1 out of it depends on the connectors it offers.
    If there is S/PDIF, TOSLINK (optical) or six analog RCA connectors you can have 5.1.


    By the way, DTS is not related to DVB. You can find DTS on (some) DVDs and Blu-rays.
