  1. I have an iphone .png file with video placed behind it to fake the video looking like it playing on the iphone.

Simple path of the iphone spinning into the screen and transparency and animation work great.

I've have been googling and youtubing all morning but can't figure out how to start the video file (on iphone) at a certain frame of the comp.

It starts as soon as the rendering starts...

I'd like the video on the iphone to pause until 4 seconds into the render etc.

I can edit the video on the iphone in premiere to mcyver the timing but is there a pimplier solution?

    Thx ahead, very much appreciated!

  2. Is your video file on a separate layer? If so, slide it to the right 4 seconds. If you need it to "hold" a still frame for 4 seconds, you can either use timeremap, or place a still frame there

If it's nothing like that, you need to provide a better description of how your project is set up. (for example post a screenshot of the AE comp)

  3. Thank you for the quick reply.

I will try to clear the situation up.

I basically have a video tile flying on to the screen from off screen which takes about 4 seconds.
When the video tile reaches its resting place in the middle of the screen it will have played 4 seconds of it's video already.
I would like the video tile to sit on it's 1st frame until it stops and then start 4 seconds into the comp.

I could duplicate the 1st frame of the tile video for 4 seconds in premiere first but hoping there is quicker way.

Clip dupe-to-fill, still frame fill, or time remap, as pdr already mentioned. No easier way (but then those aren't that hard to begin with).
