help needed

I am trying, very hard to back up my original of Swordfish. I have ripped the movie to my h/d with smartripper. It is now under 4 gig. If I understand all the walk-thoughs I have read I now need to author it. I have DVDit and have tried to use it but it seems so complicated. is there a easier way of doing it so I can burn it with Nero like I do with the DVD's under 4.3. I think I have printed just about every walk thru I have found on the net but being so new to this I am finding it very confusing. Any help would be really appreciated.

Forget about the Computer and get a stand alone VCD recorder. I have the Terapin VCD recorder and it takes me the time to watch the movie to record it. Just like a VCR player but Mpeg1 on CD-r recording.
