  3. Try making an ISO image. Or use ImgBurn (v2.4.4.0).

(The .IFO and .BUP should be placed physically at different places on the DVD. Perhaps Ahampoo doesn't handle that)

Freemake is my personal choice for working with DVD. I tried the likes of Any Video Converter and Format Factory, both of which eventually ran into issues with certain DVDs, but with Freemake I have had no issues at all and conversion profiles are more customizable than you would initially think once you delve into the settings.

  9. If ImgBurn is not installed, AVStoDVD might not be able to make an ISO. Install ImgBurn to solve two of the problems listed. Actually the AVStoDVD used to include ImgBurn during the install. It has been removed ( 2013 ) from the installer but still is recommended.

Actually AnyVideoConverter does a fair job on most video conversions when you do not want DVD compliant files but mp4, etc.

If you can not create an ISO just choose dvd folders for the output (with avstodvd) - that is what you wanted any way.

And do install imgburn for the burning part of the final process.

We recc avstodvd above other converters simply because the program is well supported directly in the forum by it's author Mr_C_

  12. Just opt out of installing the junk that the imgburn installer wants you to have.
