Hi
Problems problems.
Everytime I try to encode or play downloaded NTSC material on my Pioneer 535 the picture gets squeezed vertically so all the actors look fat! .
I can't do anything on the player, so I'm guessing that it has something to do with the encoding.
Has anyone encountered the same problem?
I've found out that if I use the SVCD PAL setting in TmpgEnc then I get a correct aspect ratio on my TV. But since the source is in NTSC (different framrate) the picture is choppy with glitches. It isn't smooth.
Does anyone know if I somehow can convert the NTSC material to PAL (aspect ratio wise) without loosing frames?
