    Hello Community!

As always, I seem to be the only one with this kind of Problem in the whole world! I have recorded some Gameplay footage with fraps which automaticalle saves the clips as .avi I watched theses clips to make sure everything was fine and i it was: High Quality video with High Quality Audio. Because these .avi files are as big as a whole Game i decided to convert them into MP4 files which are optimised for the Web because i wanted to upload them to Youtube. I converted them with Handbrake to MP4 files (This is the only file i can convert them to with this program). But since i converted them the Audio is gone. and not just from the new converted files, it is also gone on the .avi files that had the audio before i converted them! I have two codecs installed (Windows 7 codec (Works on windows 8 with media player) and AC3filter) Also i tried scanning the .avi with VirtualDubMod but everything was ok with the files according to the programm.

Is there any way to get the Audio back? Why does this happen? Why CAN this happen? And why does stuff like this always happen to me?

I am thankful for every help i can get!

I would check those files with MediaInfo and see if they really have sound. It may just be a codec problem.
And you might try a video player like VLC which doesn't need external codecs.

    And welcome to our forums.
