I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good book titles about video/data/formats in general.

    Thanks in advance.

You can likely find everything you want to know, and more, for free on the internet. Where you look (aside from a Google search) would largely depend on the specific information that you are wanting to learn about.

  9. But what particularly ?

I would recommend http://www.amazon.com/Video-Demystified-Handbook-Digital-Engineer/dp/0750683953 - maybe not free from errors but should give basic overview for almost everything related to video... there is few other books but check this one first and later you will be in a position to provide more details what are you searching for.
