Hey guys, I have one those dual dock standalone cloners. A dock like this...
If I want to clone a msata drive, how would I do it? Would an adapter work? A msata adapter like this...
Can I put the msata in this adapter, then connect it to the dock? Think that will work? I've never owned a msata drive, so I'm just a little confused when I see their pictures. They have different connections. Some look like the normal sata type connections.

That would work, but what are you cloning to, another MSATA drive? It wouldn't be very practical to clone to a 3.5" HDD for safekeeping, you'd need a separate target drive for each source drive. Imaging software like Acronis True Image or Macrium Reflect is a better solution. You don't have to remove the source drive and you can create and save multiple image files on the target drive.

Thank you! I do have acronis drivewire and ezgigIV. I think the msata can connect even without an adapter, no? I like this Crucial one..
