    Hello,

    Recently upgraded to a new distro from Precise 12.04.5 to Trusty 14.04.2 (latest).

    Yesterday no video would play - ( none , mkv , mp4, avi , no format ).

    This is the error message that smplayer displays :

    MPlayer was compiled without FriBiDi support

    No idea and what`s going on there.

    Played fine before updating.

    Anyone with ideas on this .

    Grateful for some help and thanks.
