  1. I have ripping, encoding and all that down, I think, but when i play my vcd's the images are narrow, is there a fix for this?

  3. if you're using tmpgenc..make sure u use these settings...

    in the advanced tab, for source apsect ratio, enter in either 4:3 or 16:9 (dvd2avi's info box will tell you which one to enter)

    image positioning method should be set to full screen (preserve aspect ratio)

    under the video tab, the output video should be 4:3 NTSC, if you plan to watch your dvd rip on a regular NTSC TV

  4. stan, i use dvd decrypter to rip, dvd2avi, and tmpgenc
    poopyhead call me stupid but what is a regular ntsc tv?

  5. regular NTSC TV is the TVs in the US .. i'm assuming u don't have widescreen TV
