    It is interesting in that it supports all kind of color conversions (hopefully correct), the catch is that it does not 'upconvert' the color space with interpolation.

    Anybody tried this?

    Very nice lossless codec in terms of encoding speed, decoding speed & latency (repsonsiveness in a NLE). Slightly better than UT Video which is amazing.

    I'm less interested in the conversions (because it's a lossless codec), but you can ask or PM the author, Ignus2 about the details on that. He posts at doom9 and posted a few times here
